RSC 182 Cup
Hi all,
I had my first track day earlier this month. Wow what a real hoot! I loved it.
My 182 cup has stock disks and ds2500 front pads and stock rears. Brakes were faultless on the day. No hint of fade. Fantastic. Due to this non fading performance I might have overdone things in doing too many laps. 15 laps per session including a cool down lap, and a total of 5 sessions for the day. Its a 2.2km circuit.
Everything was fine on the day. Didn't drive the car the next day. I now seem to have a brake issue. Brakes are squiling/squeking alot more than before, and when I apply brakes, its as though the brakes are on/off/on in a shuddering/jerking type of way. This happens when brakes are cold and warm.
I will go and see my mechanic on Monday, but in the interim I'd like to know what you guys think. Is it a disc issue, or pads. Pads only have about 1000km's plus that 1 trackday. Discs have about 60000 km's.
Cheers
