Golf GTD Mk7
So first trackday on the DS2500s and overall I was very impressed. Locked up a couple of times which was nice . For those who don't know its the usual setup, with HC discs, lines and dot 4 super.
Anyway, when I was starting to push the car more towards the end of the day by about the 5th lap I was getting vibration under braking. So came into the pits. Checked the pads over and all looking nice and meaty, nothing out of place. Checked the fluid, and aside from a little leakage from the reservoir, the level was fine. So I thought the disc might have warped? Bare in mind I don't leave my foot on the brakes when stationary ever, so chances are minimal.
Went back out again for a few more laps and again they were spot on for the first few laps, and vibration occurred again towards the end.
Anyone any ideas? Was a bit gutted as by the time I was getting into it, I was losing confidence in the brakes and ended up pitting.
I'm thinking about running CAFs to help, but should they be doing this anyway?
