Brake pad deposits - DS2500

Hi,
After the last trackdays the pads lay an uniform deposit on the discs which also causes a light judder.
I have the 197 brembo conversion with ds2500 pads and 300mm scenic brembo discs (which are new). I like to think that I bed in the pads properly.
I only do 2 max 3 laps on a 4km track and then 1 or 2 cool down laps so I won't be saying I abuse the brakes
When I had 280mm brembo max discs I didn't have this issue, so what can it be?

What they said. Ds2500 likes relatively hard, short brake applications otherwise they do leave deposits. Easy enough to clean up, just give them death a few times.

Ds2500’s aren’t the best track pad. That said they’re fine.

Often see that issue when you’re not braking hard enough / on the brakes for too long
Yeah I know they're not a track pad but I don't have a track car either. I visit the track 2 max 3 times per year (unfortunately) and I don't abuse the brakes. I have some guys that do multiple laps on them without issues, I was thanking that maybe I did/do something wrong somewhere

Hard and short on the brakes is better than holding on to them for longer 🙂

I've had this on Ferodo pads, 2500, 3000, and ds11.1
I've never had any trouble with Mintex compounds M1144, M1155, F2, and F4.
