brake pad urgent question

tried changing the front brake pads today on the 172 but the inside pads on each side are very difficult to put in. So the one's closest to me are fine going in.


Ive tried grease but its not much use. didnt want to use too much force to get them in. any help would be appreciated as the car is currently sitting on stands

Which pads do you have? Should go in fine if standard.

My DS2500's are a bit tight so just a little tap on the hammer sorts it!

+1 my cheapish pads needed about 1mm taking off both ends (of the stub/guide bits on the sides) and only just slid in!
