easy, take the wheels off (pop the bonnet and undo the cap on the master cylinder) undo the bolt on the bottom of the caliper (located behind the caliper) 16mm or 17mm (cant remember) youll need to hold the nut just inside the edge of the caliper with another spanner (again witha 16mm or 17mm spanner)

lift the caliper up

next is the hardish part, you have to push the piston back into the capiler, i use a wheel brace to do this and lever it off the opposite egde of the caliper.

slide in the new pads (copper grease the back of them to stop them from squeaking)

drop the caliper back down

replace bolt and tighten

put wheels back on

remember to replace the cap on the master cylinder

remember to pump the brakes before you dirve anywhere!!!!

That last point is the most important.
To get the piston back I used a large G clamp with no problem.
Best geting somne to help you hold the caliper when you have taken it of whilst you replace the pads as it is difficult to hold the caliper and push the piston in.

The old Clio Haynes manual tells you how to do it but when you get the wheel of you understand it better than nay manual can explain.

Its an esay job even I could do it.

A spanner placed across the piston will allow you to simply squeese it with your hands back into the caliper.
