Brakes Issue

I painted the callipers on the MK2, and the paint on only one side seems to be ever so slightly craking, even though I used hammerite.

Is there need for a primer/ laquer to be applied?

Is see this is on a 200? If its squeaking from the rear they all seem to do at it at some stage.

easy enough to fix, bin the shims on the rears and grind down the front pads
