Brakes

Right - Im off to get a pair of Michelin Pilot Primacy Tyres, Size 195/45 V16 - fitted to the front of my car. Roughly what should I expect to pay if I asked them to change the front discs? - nothing fancy - just regular brakes.

how olds the car and it is brakes and discs or just discs. Get a quote then call yoz/fred for theirs

Pads are only cheap £40 Id say from halfords.

Follow the guide on the forum and you can do it yourself its dead easy 1/2 a side at worse.

A gargae will charge about 1 hrs labour to do it so that £35 or so.

pads are 45 from Renault. Discs are £96
Renault charges around 1hour labour for the pads, dont know for the discs.

It took me around 1hour for the pads the first time and 2 hours or the discs (but this obviously also include the pads) when done myself

forgot top add, local garage charged me £20 for the pads a year or so ago
