brakes ???

this may be a question of catastrophic ignorance........
​is there any difference between the brakes on my 1.6 compared to 172/182 brakes, as i have discs all round ?
reason for asking is i'm looking to upgrade the brakes when changing them rather than simply replacing what's there already, thanks in advance.

Clio Sport 172/182 brakes are 280 mm at the front so are larger than yours .
