Brand of Lowering Springs?

Is it worth going for the cheaper make for the extra 5mm?
Bit of a tight budget so any larger drop is out of the question...

Also what are the odds that a 12 year old Clio with 100,000 miles on the clock has a seized torsion bar? Any precausions to prevent it? It will be a few weeks before I lower it.
