bubbling plastics

noticed a few weeks ago that where the door mirror switches are on the plastic there was a bubble in the plastic,when i touched it it came off.just noticed now,that it has now grown about 1 inch,where basically it looks like a layer of plastic is coming of the interior if you know what i mean.i cant really see this being a common fault but any others experienced this?

When I looked around when buying I saw this on quite a few Mk1 172s, but never on a MK2.

well im hoping they should beable to get it sorted when it goes in garage on wednesday.the plastic coating has flaked off even more over last couple of days,im sure it will be covered under warranty.
