bucket seats mounted to floor

Yoyo so whats the score whoes mounted there side mount buckets direct to the floor? I want mine to sit nice and low i csn fabricate some stuff was thinking of cutting out the original rail mounts and welding a plate flush to the floor and then bolting the side mounts direct to that.... any one done anything similar? Pics and stories pawwweeeze

Fraser has just mounted them on seat rails.

If you remove the standard tunnel stiffener's then you can bolt the sidemounts directly to the floor with some flat bar welded on to floor to strengthen it.

Jon on here with the martini coloured ph1 has done it although I can't find his thread.
