What causes my gear stick to rattle when i accelerate hard in second.

Anyone else get this???

You can actually pinpoint where the rattle is coming from? lol

My 172 rattles from different areas daily....I swear it's going to fall apart any day

Gearbox/engine mount being worn causes it to lean backwards when accelerating hard. Or do you actually mean Rattle out loud??

You can feel vibration through gear lever, makes my wedding ring vibrate.

Its the type of car mate, the stiffer the setup the more vibration! its normal for 1*2's especially Trophys and Cups. If its excessive though could need new dogbone mount or gearbox/engine mount as previously mentioned.

Sounds stupid but V-Power actually makes it a bit smoother!!
