Bump strips

  Clio200 EDC Lux
What is the best way to get the semi painted bump strips looking nice and clean.

By semi painted I mean the ones that aren't fully painted the same as the car nor are they unpainted.

I have these on my megane on the door strips and bumpers, when the car is clean they seem to look dirty.

Any ideas?

nope I don't mean black plastic trim, look at this pics the plastic either side of the number plate and bumps strip are not gloss painted.

I think renault do this on most clio's and meganes etc. (my old 197 had full gloss bump strips so didn't have this issue)

i was reading this th other day and didnt understand it BUT seen a few clios about 04- that look like they have been badly colour coded but i think maybe its the same as this now????

It's the mk2ph2 Extreme editions that have the semi-colour coded strips!!
They still look gash though.

i didnt think they were plastic but if they are painted then u could possibly just use wax on them like the paintwork.
If they are coloured plastic then try something like ag instant show shine it keeps all plastic looking good whatever colour!
