bumper strips

Car  TT
this is a bit random, but i was thinking, my 1.4 mk2 clio when polished properly has bumperstrips which are kinda a colour coded (but matt version) of my car?? therefore, if i sprayed them with clear gloss, or laquered them, would it work?and look colour coded?

wudent of thought so mate :S

probs best getting them done pro, then it getting done properly rather than a bodged job :approve:

yeah thought so, i was generally intruiged!!lol maybe il give it a shot on an inconspicuous part!!see how it goes, im feeling lucky haha

that sounds strange :S maybe just need a good buffing? just putting laquer on wouldnt do anything.you sure they are painted?

some of the later ones had just colour dusted over the normal nump strips. looked tacky. You will need the sand/parimer them and paint them if you want them to look glossy.
thanks
josh

yeah, but cause mines black, i wondered if it would work anyway?!thats why i wondered, if it was silver i think it be pretty difficult?so think it wouldnt work even with black?it was a very outa the blue thought, i didnt think it would work, but woulda been awsome if it did lol

in putting lacquer over them you would get a shiny finish, however it would draw attention to the fact that its not been properly colour coded
