Burning smell from the exhaust?

On my 182 thats only done 500 miles? I've driven it pretty normally, only giving it some now n then, not taking it over 4k for the 1st 500 miles etc?

The exhaust also seems quite raspy too?

they all do it. had the same thing on my old car.
