Trying to persuade James to come along, and Dinger Dave is starting to show an interest. Working on Mark 123 atm. The more the merrier.
Can't see me doing TT now, single driver is pointless IMO.

Lap 6 race two has to be the best!

I love the way the Skyline was ambushed by two Clio's then the silver Subaru was punted by the black Clio.

When trying to go fast through the bends, light weight is what you need, a turbo wont help you other than helping you to get a decent entry speed in the first place.

Race cars are all about the corners.

Trackday cars its different of course cause the rules mean you have to overtake on the straights.

Actually, a lot higher than I would have thought. Big balls fast bits, and got to get the corners right on the other bits. I really enjoyed it.

Was never a fan of Rock before.

Just watched the vids on youtube, was laughing all through the first race when your hounding that Scooby, shame you didn't get a lung in on him in the traffic towards the end. Top driving Mr H hats off to you sir.

Do you run a data logger or is it just a gps sensor for the lap times and track map? Just wondering what your braking and cornering Gs are like, the car looks to take quite a while to slow down but it could just be me...!

Thanks Andy, once I had missed a gear change out of Tarzan on lap 8, it wasn't worth it, don't forget, I only had to worry about the Clio behind, once he had gone off I could ease back a bit, I knew I was on for the win, so I wasn't going to spoil it by messing about.

GPS.
Picking a braking point for Turn 1 is very tricky, tried picking a different letter on the wall, miss one and it's too late, not as grippy as you would think, very easy to overshoot it, as I proved in race 2.

But also, the set up is for a more twisty circuit, it's a mega braking point in Turn 1, it does keep you on your toes.

That makes sense - better to be a bit early than overshoot. Yeah you said it wasn't very grippy. Your twisty setup seemed to work though!

My car is pretty quick in a straight line now at probably over 1100kg with me in it, in the race car with tony driving and nearer to 800 i guess it would be mental!

Would put you in some funky classes though I would imagine!
