Business Broadband Providers

At work we are looking to move away from Claranet for our BB access, any recommendations for a new provider who does not cost a fortune per month/year?

BT Business Broadband is reasonably priced at £20 per month but not sure if they are good or not.

Any speed requirements or is a nominal 20mb (or even 10/5/2mb) enough?

We were with pipex (now talktalk, so cancelled immediately) and just signed up with plusnet, can't recommend them yet though, early days.

There is a broadband comparison site for business connections, although not gospel, gives you an idea.

Always heard good things about Eclipse - use them at home and have done for 5 years. Static IP's were free back then, so I got a range for home use! whoop.

We use BT for our guest wireless, seems to be alreet. Our leased lines are BT too (for now), but that's a completely different kettle of fish

What encapsulation you running on the leased circuits (if serial)?

20mb is OK for our needs at work, we really only use the net for light browsing and email.

Only just seen this. They're presented over ethernet to us, I can't even access the routers (we link into Telstra's MPLS)
