Buyers of Crap Tyres

Car  Something Not French
I'm sure this is a repost, but a very good demonstration of the difference in tyre quality on a 172.

I'm pretty sure the 'performance' tyres are either Toyo T1-S, or Goodyear Eagle F1, But i'd say more likely the Toyo.

Comments welcome as ever.

Well yes, there is a lot the driver can do to rig it eg drive ham fisted etc, but anyway!

As much as they were trying top make a point, Dr. Palmer is pretty good at being scientific over this kind of thing. Remember that he did have a hanger full of Clio Cup racers at Bedford to play with too.

I'd be more inclined to think it was rigged if I saw loads of branding, but the only one mentioned was "Avon" as the standard-fit unit....is that even correct? I always though it was Conti's or Michelins?

But people need silvervisions and nipple rings.

nope, continental contisport 2s were the mk2 172 fit, which is now the '3' and upgraded. Same tread pattern
