I'm getting bored of not having a car while i look for a new 1. im after a 1.2 172 replica. I've found one thats based in north london and i was quite keen but then i phoned the contact number and was dealing with a complete idiot chav and it put me off totally. He has lost the service history, 'he finks' and has put stupid racing stripes on the roof and back and some huge clio sport and no fear stickers in the back window. nThe ad goes on about the speed of the car (1.2?) and its sound.

One half of me says dont even bother dealing with him, the other says your buying a car not him. Would anyone else consider buying a car with no service history and from a total nob who has propably ragged it the entire time.

Personal choice... i wouldnt. Get one from someone on here. Or somewhere reliable..... Ideally if you have funds and time... do the rep yourself, exactly how you want it. Place your stickers where u want... even up that chavs Arse!!!

If you buy this n00bs car you will only live to regret it, hold out till a decent one comes along, or get a cheaper one & do it yourself If you take your time sourcing the bits you'll probably find a few bargains.

Dude *never* buy a car with no service history It's either hiding something, like it's never been serviced, or the owner is a thick f**k of the highest order - how hard must be it be to lose a cars entire history accidently?! And do you really want a car driven by someone that stupid?

Have a scout around, try some breakers, look on here, speak to matt black (speacialist renault breakers) put out a wanted ad ? It's not just about ebay tbh.

don't bother buyign the parts off ebay like bloke said above, the parts are cheaper from renault, some 172 wings on ebay went for like £70+ each, when they are only £50 from renault !!
