C&C3 Tiberium War - Arrived

  BMW e46 320 Ci Sport
nah i disagree, it's still easy to recover from a superweapon, at least there isn't the imbalance of the nuke being stupid and the ion cannon being pathetic. the alien superweapon is really good too.

the trick is to make sure you spread you base out. at the end of the day, as superweapon is supposed ot be a super weapon not a poncy weapon! haha

i remember the ion cannon not being able to take out much more than a poiwer plant before hand, thats useless...it made nod too hard.

i think they are trying too hard to make the storyline on this one and there doesn't seem to be very much in the line of actual gameplay. I seem to be lacking full exposure of being able to make big bases and progress as the levels seem to be over before you know it. I've also never been a fan of the missions without bases that involve you doing pointless sh*t. Still a good game though.

Good point there, m8. The levels do seem to be over really quickly.

LOL - how the feck do you do that Croatia level??? :S

Getting mullered from four sides is bad enough, but they just keep coming when you're supposed to escort the MCV from the top left down to the base.

I can't even get past the NOD defences on the left with the MCV - and even if I could, there's shedloads of NOD parked in the area where I supposed to setup shop.

As with all C&C levels, there's a knack to them. I clearly haven't found it with this one! Do the turrets around the central area where you're supposed to hold out initially, ever get power?

I did manage to get a squad of tanks up to the NOD base in the top right, but it uses the usual C&C AI tactic of speeding up the production times of it's own units to a stupid level. Before I even killed one buggy, another was coming out to replace it.

Mission is it mate ?

Nevermind that...You can give the turrets power when there needed best to put on all for Machine gun turrets and then build 8 tanks annd put them at the top and right hand side of your base. Ass for getting the MCV back to base best thing to do is build she dload of APC and tanks and clear out everything on that lil island first then just drive the MCV to your base and set up shop build a few power plants power up everything and then build a force to take out the other bases. The bas in the bottom right your giong to need some zone troopers as theres no way to get up there with tanks without using airtransport.

Might help you out i dunno

the key on that level is building extra Harvesters, atleast one more if not 2 or 3 more. That way you have more cash to build tanks and troops. The best thing to do with regards to the MCV is just leave it until you've got plenty of units (you can leave MCV as long as you like), train lots of soldiers and occupy as many of the civilian buildings as you can (destroy those with enemy forces) this will make getting the MCV through much easier.

Buch of tanks and a few APC with greanaders in them and take out all the buildings and then the base on that island is the best way to go on that mission

nod are awesome, i'm one like chapter 5 of the nod campaign as i clocked gdi now. it' good fun, there are some weird missions, i wish they had done a scin campaign though.

i don't actually think the levels are that short, some of the later ones take a good while and yuou get to use all your tech and stuff so you can make massive bases, on nod this is especially true when your protecting temple prime.

as for the storyline, whats not to like? jesus some of you won't ever be pleased. it's excellent, well funny in places especially on the gdi side, almost a satire of itself.

There is a Scrin camp but theres on ly 4 missions you unlock it once you play thought both GDI and Nod mate

only trouble with nod are the price of upgrading each avatar, it's a little annoying and costs loads.

wow look forward to the little scrin campaign.

This NOD campaign is just getting better. I actually feel like I don't trust anyone on the NOD side in the film clips - lol!

Brilliant game - and if anyone is just about to start it, I'd recommend the NOD missions first.

And if you're new to the whole real-time strategy thing, just try C&C3 full stop. It may just convert you. ;)
