CAF Ducting...

  Integra Type-R DC2
Wheres the best place to get some CAF Ducting and Trumpets? Was going to buy KTecs own sealed IK then run some black CAF with a trumpet, but by the lkooks of it, the only CAF ducting KTec sell looks like the stuff you use for tumble dryer venting. Wanted some black ducting to match the rest of the car.

Cheers

+1 for venair

quality stuff much better than the 'tin foil' feed I had before

Depends what tin foil you get.

I bought, i think it was originally, Green tin type CAF and it was total s**t. Tore with in a week.

Been running 100mm (4'') Homebase kitchen ducting type tin stuff for approx 2 years and its very very strong indeed. Bends into position and dosent tare.

Only cost a tenner too. Wont rot over time like 'proper' CAF's

Its only a tenner too!

More than enough to reach from lower grill / fog light set up and thats without having to stretch it so the plus side it stays very rigid, the only down side is due to the diameter of the ducting / CAF you will have to adjust your horn set up and if you run a 172 ph2 / 182 move the acoustic valve thing too

Homebase ducting is the way to go
