Calling Clio ICE boffs

Ive got a 1994 Phase 2 16v, with the speakers at the front of the car replaced by branded ones (13cm door and 10cm dash), to compliment the rest of the system.

Sadly, my left hand door bottom 13cm speaker is not happy at the moment. Ive checked the speaker and its OK. So it must be the wiring or a join somewhere after the head unit - since the 10cm (which is fine) is on the same circuit from the head unit.

Can someone explain where the join/split is in the circuit of the two L/H speakers? Ive had the dash top off and the speakers out to have a poke around, but cannot see where they meet/split.

Any help appreciated!

u could cut the wire between the headunit and the car conecter block and branch off from that
missin out the wiring through the car and runnin your own wire
