I'm booked in on Friday for some minor service/timing checked work so i'll report back then! Boy seems to know what he was talking about on the phone anyway!

Nice one let me know, will probably use them for belts next year if good.

I'd go to SWR mate. Thing with going to DTM is you have to factor in fuel cost too so it will probably end up costing a more.

Nothing against DTM btw.

Nope but they do run and look after some big power cars and rally cars, I'm sure they will be able to do a Clio without problems. The set up on a Clio is similar to a lot of modern cars with no key ways used on the pulleys.

Every / any garage claim they can time a Clio. Not many can do it right.

Proper tools, Renault ones and experience of doing them before is what you want.

I would still personally take it somewhere who actually knows clios. Even if they do look after high end cars.

For £590 I'd go with DTM, well repped and best price around that I've seen. Cheapest I got in May this year in the South was Rentec @ £725 in Waterpump.

Or right, go there then. Epic price.

Although I feel discriminated in the Scottish Branch Charging a fellow Scot less for being that side of the Border.... Not fair.
