Anyone done this? If so how good value for money is it? I want more speed but dont want to shell out £1000. I would prefere to spend £500. Any ideas? Ive looked into head work, but apparently not really worth it in the WIlliams. ;-(
So ive been told, i think your right. Lets face it £1000 for 15 BHP is alot. I wouldnt mind spening the £400 on head work if it gave 10 BHP but i dont see it happening.Quote: Originally posted by Ben H on 19 October 2003
The Williams F7R unit has sharper cams and polished inlet exhaust parts (as well as the obvious bottom end change) over the 16Vs F7P unit. On that basis Ive also heard that it isnt worth polishing/porting the inlet parts of a Williams engine.
Nick Hill told me not to botherQuote: Originally posted by rockport on 17 October 2003

2 live, you must have it chipped to make 185...either that or you have been testing the car on a micky mouse rolling road
no way you could get that kind of gains from just exhaust and filter...
