Cambelt rumble

I have recently bought a MK2 172 (52000 mls). I have noticed a rumble which seems to come from the area of the cambelt

The noise disappears as soon as the revs rise immediately from tickover. From reading the Renault technical bulletin on http://www.clio172.co.ukwww.clio172.co.uk it states that the belts fitted were very noisy.

Has anybody else had this problem and does it create a risk to the engine.
