Camber wanted

Hi guys had my b14 fitted yesterday and they said they could only get 1.1degree Camber on the front and I have eibach Camber bolts already he was saying I would need rose jointed wishbones or somthin how are you guys getting 2+ degrees

I've got more than that on just coilovers, no camber bolts or solid topmounts.

Can't be right that.

Did he maybe mean an additional 1.1 over stock? I'm running over 2 degrees negative with just camber bolts.

Can't help with the B14's specifically but these are my settings on cooksports, standard cup shocks, PMS solid top mounts and eibach camber bolts. I can't see why the B14's would be so much less adjustable.

I have b14's with camber bolts. My settings are around -1.5 on the front. The 'recommended' garage said to add more camber I need bolts. See above . I will be at some point run -2.5 ish. The rear is -2 but I have shims. Thinking outloud are the bolts in correctly, the tab iirc should be near the shock end if that makes sense mate

Thanks for everyones help Taking it back there tomorrow will get it on the ramp see if we can see anything amiss take some pics etc just a thought what size (mm) are the eibach bolts are the pms ones longer meaning maybe more camber available

Different bolts wont affect the amount of camber afaik. Hence why people including me buy the eibach ones as they are the cheapest.

I have B14s, eibach camber bolts and PMS top mounts.

Running -2.5 deg. So the guy who did it is either;

A) incompetent
B) a liar

In both cases I'd be going elsewhere tomorrow.

Don't want to name the company as could just be human error different set of eyes different day could be all that's needed but they do have clio customers racing in the cup series etc and are only a motorsport garage not the likes of kwik fit so will give them a chance but they will only get one then I'll go else where

Does anyone have any pictures of how the camber bolts are ment to be fitted top or bottom inside outside etc cars going up on the ramp tomorrow so want to be able to spot anything out of place and tell them fit them like this etc. Also I replaced the rear rubber top mounts at the time of fitting coilovers as the ones that where on there didn't match so I now have powerflex purple (fast road) but getting some knocking is this due to the rubbers not being OEM or the fitting

Camber bolts should be fitted in the top bolt, also do away with the washers on them too.

Thanks everyone for your help went back went back and got a couple of gremlins sorted now feels much better a lot more eager to scramble to the apex
