havent got a clue mate..im as baffled as you are and its my car. five days i spent on the car with various people looking at it. guy from ren-tec, he looked at it, walked away scratching his head..spoke to a guy at renault, wasnt interested..paul from ren-tec said "everything fitted looked o.k" so mate i didnt know what to do next...listening to all your advise, when you first said to me it could be a tooth out, i double checked it and went through it all again. made sure all the head was torqued down properly, made sure there was no pipes off anywhere, made sure there was no air leaking through the gaskets, tried everything mate. spoke to a guy in poole who sells a lot of ice and does a lot of chips for cars (re-mapping) it was my last option, he seemed to know what he was doing and ive never been in a car with someone sat next to me with a laptop..looked over to the laptop and there was all sorts of things popping up on it! as i said i wish i had the answers for you mate but i dont. all i know is whatever hes done, its better. the only thing is now when its cold, it ticks over at 2000rpm which it didnt do before. as you know yourself, you cant adjust anything on those, its all done by the cars brain. as soon as i take it to regal autosport tomorrow, i will let you all know the outcome
