Camshaft Locking tools for 182

I am going to change the cambelt, aux belt and dephaser pulley on my 182. Ive had a look at one of the guides and apparantley the laser tools are rubbish if you want to take the pulleys off (I dont doubt this, Ive used laser tools before on my mini and they were s**t). So what do people suggest? I dont want to drop a hundred pounds plus on tools im only going to use every 5 years.

Rent a set? I've got the full set including the ones for the camshaft oil seals, I'd rent them out quite happily

I think the people that say the say the laser camshaft setting tool is rubbish arent using it correctly, it's only intended to hold the
timing, it's not designed to hold the camshafts while you slacken off the pulleys, that's what the pulley locking tool is for.

As above, nothing wrong with the laser tool if you fix the pulleys with the correct Renault tool (correct process).

but the genuine horse-shoe isn't any more expensive then the copy's. Why bother?
