Can any plastic / bodywork guys help?

Sorry Admin, didn't know where to stick this, so please move if required!

I've a tiny hole on my rear bumper, from when the exhaust was originally fitted and it settled against the plastic and it's burnt through.

Now, local places are reckoning on about £150+VAT to get this sorted which is more than I want to pay really for a relatively minor job.

Anyone on here fancy having a go? Would ideally like to get sorted by FCS. :)

What's the best way to fill the hole? Would it be best just to use filler and be prepared to have to do again and again as it cracks away?

You need to use fibre glass + resin etc to reinforce the area. You can mold the shape with something as simple as masking tape. You would then need to use some kind of fibre glass filler and prime + paint over it. I would recommend sanding a slightly larger area before you start the work.

:S Fibreglass and me don't mix!

Anyone local to the SW fancy having a go for a bit of beer money?

No the surrounds are new since then and in fine condition. The black mark to the left of the right hand pipe (as you look at it) is actually a hole in the plastic.

I'm based in Exeter. :)
