can i put a renault 19 engine my clio

can anyone help i thourt i read or heard that you can put a renault 19 engine in a clio is it true? i have a renault clio rt m reg 1994
or dose anyone know where i can get a cheap 16v egine for my car 2.0 lr or 1.8

I would like to know this too as there seem to be a few 19 engines around these days.

I spoke to Nick Hill ages ago and I think he said that they are basically the same, but with slightly different mounting points or something.

Should be able to do it though

block/heads same. mounts/box manifolds diff, so will take a bit of work to fit, but all bolt on stuff.

i know Nick Hill can do a Megane engine conversion.......i think its a 1.6 that hes done

id definitely give him a call as he will know what will go
