Can my car have a tow bar.02 1.2 16v

Got a 1.2 16v expression, just wanna know how much it can pull, were not talking a caravan, tho a motorbike trailer with a bike on it.?

Does anyone have the maximum recommended pulling power for this car / year..



Advice would be good. Got a kiddies bike so wanna tow it about than keep putting it in the boot with the seats down..

my mates got a tow bar on his 1.2 8v and it pulls his two supermoto bikes pretty easy- shouldnt see it as a problem mate

Have a look at the owners manual. Think theres a section in there

it does tell u in your user manual near the back mate, aint got it to hand but it does say

your car should have an unbraked towing capacity of about 450-500 kg, and a braked capacity of about 900-1000 kg.

Small bike trailer weighs appx 100 kg.

Kids bike appx 70 kg max
