can send texts but not receive them

Sounds obvious, but you've tried turning it off and on?

I have this problem with all sorts of phones. End up getting a trillion texts a week later at 3am. Phone your operator and ask if they're having issues. If not, restore it through iTunes.

How long has it been doing it?

Not the only one. My phone goes through phases of it too - iPhone 3GS.

As above really, restoring it seemed to have worked for me.

not had a txt in the last 24 hrs even tho i know people have sent me them.

Going to see the operator at lunchtime, but i know they dont have a clue half the time so thought i would ask here.

tried turning it on and off, several times and reset the network settings.

Also deleted a load of messages incase it was full

sorted, network problem

took it in, they did something and it works

the network is currently switching to 3G they said its a mix up there

god knows what txts ive lost tho
