can you adjust when the cams come up?

Just a quick question for those who tune clio's. Is it possible to change the time(revs0 that the cams come up. ie- if you fit aftermarket cams that lift from 2000 rpm to 7000rpm instead of the stock ones that start at 4500 rpm?

many thanks for your input;)

You mean when they advance by there set 14 or 16 dgeress (I forget)?

Yes you can you cna deactivae it if you want.

Its done when you remap.

16deg advance (1600rpm it activates from memory)

but by deactivating it your inlet cam will not be advanced by 16deg

i see! so just get a remap done. but dastek/unichip claim to adjust the advance cam lift timing. what do you do fred if say piper cams are fitted

Unicips havn't as far as I know been mapped on the Clio. There no wiring out there yet.

There no point using them either IMO since stock ECU cn be mapped.

my friend has had his unichip mapped on his clio 172 cup yesterday on rolling road. Stock remap like superchips will do for now.
