Can you buy a convertor pipe that lets you fit a 182 cat on a 172 manifold?

nothing wrong with my 172 manifold i fancy matched inlets and all that jazz, and kind of seems a waste getting all that lovely air into the engine if its hit with a cat on the way out. i dont want the hassle of switching a 172 cat and decat every year, so if i can have the hassle just once by fitting an adaptor, then i have a much easier job each year with a 182 cat/decat

Can be done but nothing off the shelf. Am with the OP on not wanting a 182 manifold though.
