i may be misinterpreting some of the comments on here, but is it possible to lower the seats in these clios? te driving position is awful!
its a ph1 172 in my case.

slightly. there's two rubber spacer type things under each other bolts holding the seat down that can be removed. you need to unbolt the seat from under the car, lift it up and you'l see four black plastic / rubber grommet type things. remove these with screwdriver (carefully prise them out) and then bolt the seat back down.

if the ph1 have height adjustment? you can also fit this onto the passenger side seat. lad that owned mine before me fitted it so both seats are now as low as they are going to get.

yeah it has height adjustment but its still pants. i'll give that a go cheers mate. feel like donkey kong at the mo sat up like that.

yeh it used to feel like you'd fall off going round corners.

it doesnt make a huge difference, so dont expect too much, but its better with them taken out.

think there was a thread on here somewhere with pictures if you get stuck

I didnt have one in the first place. I ended up only doing it to the drivers side. as the slider wouldnt slide anymore as it was sat on the carpet.
