can you make 182 gaz coilovers fit a 172?

is this possible.
set forsale on e bay and want some for my phase 1 172. seller suggests they can be made to fit.
Anyone got any ideas if it is possible and how diffcult it is to do?

why would you want 172 suspension on a 182? is it better?

right so the jist i get from that is that the bolt holes on the 182 are wider than that on a 172. therfore i would have to make up some spacers. could do with j3ned to give me some advice on this one. don't want to f**k it up now do i!!!!
