Yeah it has been done. Someone from over on the continent did it iirc. I thought it looked alright.

Will just need splitting then resealing, usually done by putting them in a oven to melt the seal

Ermm i havnt got a clue to be honest! Probably just long enough to warm the seals up without damaging anything.. as for temp, ermm 200?

Yeah although he sanded down the outer bit and that made them look awfully hazey if you get me.

I just prefer the layout of the other lights. So is it possible to basically just blacken them and put a clear outer cover on?

Is it okay to put a clear cover on then instead of the one with lines, or does that effect something?
