Can't see out of wing mirrors in rain

When I'm driving in really wet weather, the rain seems to puddle right in the edge of the door window and I can't see anything out of my wingmirrors as it just splatter backwards. Happens both sides. Common? Does it on my 1.2.

nope, nearly 6ft tall. I'm not sat on top of the steering wheel either before you say that ;) It literally makes it impossible to see out the wingmirrors. I'd take a photo but yknow, the law.

I'll get the girlfriend to take some pictures next time i go for a drive in the rain. It's pretty f**king horrendous though, especially bad during the night...

I know what you mean by it swirling in the corner near the plastic trim, but the mirrors are stuck out a few inches past that so i'm a bit confused.
Being a 5dr makes no difference? Visibility is seriously hindered, it's right in my line of sight and I can't see out of the mirrors. I'll try rain-x but to be honest i'll be getting rid of this car soon anyway.

😂^^^love that
On a serious note, I've just bought some G3 wind deflectors, £22 and they are really good quality, fit well, look good, better than the Heko ones imo. They would stop that and reduce wind noise in the car when on motorways etc with the windows down a couple of inches. Just a thought

Got some hekos on my 182, so looking forward to trying these out. Good shout though, but as I said not looking to spend more and more on this car. Just want the little kinks fixing. Didn't know if i'd experience similar on my 182 or if there was a simple fix.
Glad you like my paint effort, photoshop isn't on the university library computers :( Would've been far more artistic otherwise

Drill a hole under said puddle and filter into an empty can?

Can't see any other way tbh

Ps hope you sort it
Puddle maybe wasnt the best explanation, ahaha, it's more just building up in that corner, then travelling down the rest of the window.
