can't turn off ABS/ESP

can't turn off TC/ESP

as there is no switch next to the dimmer [where it should be]

so do i even have ABS/ESP??

its a 2002 172 btw.

well u cant turn off abs anyway! yes you will have both abs and esp if its not a cup? i'm pretty sure the early ones didnt have the esp button!

NO, you don't have ESP, thats why you can't turn it off, couse its off

how about traction control then? thought the 2 were linked, i.e. both on or both off.

esp only came in during 2003 I think. My old 172 on a 03 plate was one of the first ones with it I think. Previous to that the 172 had no esp or traction control as far as I know

it was cars with a build date of Spet 2002 onwards that have ESP my 172 was a may2002 so didnt have it.

i'm not that fussed either way - just wanted to know as the light has never come on, even when sliding round greasy roundabouts!!
