on paper there are cars you couldnt hope to beat but when you get to a set of lights or a nice stretch of road on the right day you can always pull something off.

so come on what cars have you upset that you can think of

i beat my mate in his punto gt turbo in my old 1.2 clio

it was only because his turbo hose blew but it was very amusing

he looked like such a chump

its impossible to beat something you shouldnt have as if you shouldnt have beaten it then obviously they were not trying as hard as you !!! and if you did beat it and they were trying then obviously you should have beaten it as your car is faster there for it negates the point of this thread

Took out a BMW 530i (old man trying to show off to young girlfriend), Audi S3, TT225 (neigbours cars) and my best race ever was with a Y reg Porsche Carrera on an excellent back road reaching silly speeds, he eventually turned off and waved. No winner but managed to stay with him which I consider my best achievment, a moment of madness.

Depends where you were driving, the quality of the driver (and maybe how much trust they have in their car or own skills).

I cant say ive had any noticeable scalps on the road, had a lot of fun on track though.

coming out of a 30 kept up with an E reged bemmer 325, when he nailed it I couldnt see for the mailto:cr@p">cr@p that came out his zorst, stayed on his bumper, havin to ease of till about 80-85, I was chuffed with the old 1.4! revved the Tits of it mind! all good fun

2x Yellow Fiat Puntos 1.2 16v - beat one, lost to the other (both at the same time)

Best of all times was a Lotus elise , 1st and 2nd he was ahead hit 3rd and i passed him - not much of a surprise though.
