after cylinder head work and hillpower ik fitted...well chuffed and carnt stop driving it !!

more responsive all the way through the rev range and Nick reckons an approx 15-18 bhp increase - which i am v happy with

Excellent work done and Nick is a top bloke, reccomend to anyone looking for this type of mod...carnt wait till the new year to get some even better cams that Nick is having profiled for me...

Hill Power Modified Cylinder Head fitted

Cylinder heads are fully rebuilt using new genuine parts as necessary, ports are reshaped and valve seat angles are modified to aid better flow into and out of the head, we also port the inlet and exhaust manifolds, (why port the head if the manifolds restrict gas flowing or out). Fast road camshafts are fitted with aluminium vernier pullies for accurate modified camshaft timing and one of our own modified chips mapped to suit this specific conversion, giving a power increase of approx 15-20 bhp. Heads are also skimmed for increased compression ratio and most important flatness. Included in the kit are all necessary gaskets, seals, and a new camshaft belt + an induction kit and a k-tec exhaust....

Darren - i saw your car @ Hillpower while i was having work done on mine, your is black isnt it? Looked really nice.

Think Nick was using your as a project - just to see what he could make out of out with the available resources. I dont see why the quoted figures are hard to believe - did he chip it too?

Glad your happy to have it back tho fella - think he had yours for over a month didnt he?
