Punto/Clio GTT
driving down the road and came to some traffic lights... lights go green i try pull away and all i get is half power and spluttering, thought hmm, tried 2nd gear, same thing, then it kicked in and went fine again.
came to next traffic lights and my car completely died, no lights, no hazards, f**k all. i was like oh s**t, jumps out pushes it up the gutter. was thinking how the f**k am i gonna lock it here (delocked), anyway pops open th ebonnet and i hear a crackling noise, locates it to the battery, pulls the cover off and the live was on the body!!! i was like fuckin hell!!! pulled the battery back and the lights came on, all back to normal.
was thinkin fuckin hell its gotta have melted the loom, tried everything, everything works fine (lucky).
the actual battery clamp had came off somewhere and allowed it to slide. put a new one on now and its all good.
