Car locking help

If i was to dsiconnect the battery, oviously the key fob wont work so would it be ok to lock the doors with the key on the passanger side door, and does it lock both doors??

you will need to lock both doors, but remember the boot is still open

I have to use a towing rope and bungie cords to keep the boot locked incase someone try's and steal some stuff inside lol
