car speaker connector confusion

i am a little bit confused, on the clio 16v speaker connector block there is 8 wires, 4 sets of 2 for 4 speakers, but there is room for 6 speakers in the car, and the boy before me had 6 speakers in it, 2 standard front speakers, 2 13 cm speakers in the doors and 2 6x9 all running of the headunit.

can anyone explain how this works please?

door speakers are daisy chained off the dash speakers, so the wires are connected from h/u to the dash speakers then door speakers are connected to the dash speakers.
