Car starting Troubles..

Today i tried to start my car...

I turned the key and all the lights appeared on the dash as usual but nothing happened, the engine didn't start and it was like i just turned on the ignition.....

I had to do this 3-4 times before the engine started

what could this be ??????

Did the red light on the dash go out?

Did you hear any relays cutting in etc?

No i didnt

Its a problem with a key or the transponder ring around where the keys goes not recinving the signal.

Sounds most likly its the transponder rign if it happenes any more you need a new ring or check the wires on the back of them there eas to change and a common problem.
