Car won't start

Basically i thought the interior light had been on all night because the door was a jar, so tried jumping it but never worked.

So i took the battery off and charged it but it said it was fine, so this morning i refitted the battery.

When you turn the key it sounds normal but just won't kick in and start

any ideas

ps it worked fine before

Whilst its turning over is the red LED light flashing fast on the inst panel ?

If so it will be the immobiliser

no mate it's not that then,

Topped up the battery it's fully charged as well but the more you turn it on seems like it's just dying and losing more power each time you do it

Strange - check leads going to the starter motor and also check the TDC sensor. Whilst its turning whip the inlet pipe off the T/B and squirt some fuel in there - it should fire if theres a spark. Check the FBW T/B to see if the butterfly valve is opening on pressing the acc pedal down. Is there fuel getting to the rail ? Is the fuel sender unit working in the fuel tank ( lift seat and listen for a buzzing noise when you turn the ignition on ) Could possibly be an ECU / UCH fault......best taking it a Renault specialist if the above is OK

This is going to sound stupid matt but one of the battery cells had died so it was charging fine but didn't have enough power to get it going( i wish i had a voltometer i would of saved a good 2 hours) cheers matt tho for ya help
