carbasse 182 stereo

does anyone know wether its possible to connect an amp to the carbasse stereo in the 182, being cheap and trying to avoid buying new head unit! if so has any done it and how does it sound?

IIRC there are kits that allow you to attatch to the existing speaker outputs which uses the HU's output signal.

Mite be worth having a poke at some audio shops/online guides?

You need an RCA converter mate. It copies the sound waves from speakers to the lovely red and white plugs you need to run an amp. Google search it. Pretty sure i got one made by Autoleads
