carbon canister ?

well I'm new to the site. but i need some help

i have a strange noise coming from inside my car when its cold no noise at all.
then when its a normal temp there is a tapping/knocky noise. when i rev it up the noise goes and when it idles again after about 20 seconds its back. plus my emissions flashes for a while then goes out.
been to renault and they say its not the dephaser pulley.
but been reading about this carbon canister ?
im not really fussed about it being there as most people just get of it.

any help would be great,

I got the same thing dude it is the carbon canister , i know it
Sounds daft but i gave mine a good wack and it hasnt done it since lol

did you take out the drivers side inner arch ? or get to it from the bumper ?

Remove bumper, much easier
