Carbon fibre effect vinyl

I am wanting to modify the interior of my car a little, i thought of covering parts of the dash in carbon fibre vinyl:-

Would this look tacky and end up a mess or what you think it wouuld look like? i was thinking of doing the centre console etc.

I think it might turn out a bit tacky mate but nothing that cant be reversed, its quite hard to work with too.

i used this stuff to do my plastic insert on my back bumper, barely has any stickyness to the backing of it which means if you c**k up putting it on theirs no second goes!

i guess it wud be ok on a flat surface, but anything with curves would be a no no?
