I am going to buy some carbon fibre twill weave fabric and have a go at doing a few parts for myself.
Does anyone know where I can source a guide on how to do it?
Ive been told its similar to using fibre glass which ive played with on many occasions! Also what resin do I need? I know streamline use a gel coat aswell, whats this? Also someone told me you need a hot box to cure resin inbetween coats but ive been told that depends what resin you use!
Basicly I need a step by step process on how to lay carbon! Im perfectly ok with the lacquering side as im a painter so thats no problem!
Im aware it isnt cheap before anybody starts and im aware it wont be easy but everybodys got to start somewhere!
